Making your own holiday gifts is a special kind of giving – especially when you’re crafting with lavender!
Here at the farm, we’re big fans of creating. Using sustainably grown plants to make high-quality products is exactly what we’re all about – It’s why we’re named Sage Creations!
Our shop is full of hand-crafted lavender wreaths and dried bouquets, organic lavender essential oils and body products. But if you’re making some of your own gifts this holiday season, this post is for you.
We’re sharing our three favorite DIY lavender gifts and how to make them.
How to Make a Lavender Wreath
DIY Lavender Bath Tub Tea Bags
Give the gift of an at-home spa by crafting your own lavender bath tub tea bags.
This recipe makes about 12 lavender bath soak tea bags.
Mix together in a bowl:
- 3 cups Himalayan pink salt or Epsom salts
- 1 cup dry lavender flowers
- 10 drops essential oil – We especially like lavender, frankincense or bergamot
Fill disposable loose leaf tea bags or reusable cloth tea bags with the aromatic mixture.
Voila! These tea bags make the perfect little gift.
Make your own Lavender Sachets
For stocking stuffers, small gifts or cute additions to holiday gift wrapping, make your own lavender sachets and give the gift of aromatherapy.
Find your favorite cloth sachet bags or sew your own. Fill the sachet bags with high-quality lavender. We like to use True Grosso lavender in our sachet bags.
Add a ribbon or stamp to personalize your gift!
