Field Day – Part Two: Field to Market – Lavender Handling and Processing

Field Day at the farm (lavender will be blooming at this time – lots to see and do!)

Learn how to process, and market lavender from one of the industry’s leading growers. Instructor Paola Legarre has been successfully growing and selling lavender for more than 18 years.
Field Day: We will have hands on instructions in the field; review how to harvest for different products and processes, review post harvest handling methods like drying, debudding, and crafting. Crafting opportunities included, from wreath making to dried flower arranging. Get ready to get your hands dirty!
Tuition
Cost: $250/person or $450 for single operation (limit 2 persons). For each additional person from the same operation is $225.
